As a fourth-generation Montanan, I am extremely proud to call the Flathead Valley home and feel lucky to raise 3 kids in such a wonderful area. Growing up in Whitefish I participated in nearly every sport and outdoor activity that northwest Montana has to offer. I went on to have a successful high school athletic career which led me to the University of Montana Western, and later the University of Great Falls, where I played football and basketball while I worked towards a Physical Education/History Degree.
I have lived in a number of places and traveled extensively throughout my life but continue to call the Flathead Valley and Whitefish home because of the excellent people, wonderful recreational opportunities, and the overall quality of life that the Flathead offers. By a chance meeting with the original owner/operator in 2003 I was convinced to get into real estate and become the first Sales Agent for National Parks Realty. All these years later it is extremely rewarding to see National Parks Realty become a top selling agency and a company that gives back to the community. The early years in a start-up company forced me to learn all aspects of the real estate industry. On-the-job training helped me gain knowledge that has enabled me to branch out and be successful with residential and commercial real estate along with project development and planning.
My free time is mostly spent with the family these days. 3 kids keep a guy busy. A major benefit to living in Northwest MT is that it doesn't take long to be on the ski slopes, golf courses, on the water, or in the woods. All of which I enjoy.
I take pride in the fact that I am a true local. I have vast knowledge of the Flathead Valley area and more importantly, an appreciation of the area's history. I think Montana is a special place because it is different, the mountains, the lakes, the towns, the people, and the pace of life. Change and growth are inevitable, but if we do it right we can hold on to the aspects of Montana that separate it from anywhere else in the world. I am proud to be in a profession in which I can help mold that growth.
