In a land far, far away (or 1,948.2 miles to be exact) a young lady was teaching at a local college while also working in real estate. A special client came into town to find a rental house for graduate school, and the lady’s boss had her show the young man around town in hopes of finding a rental. After three separate trips into town to view properties, the young lad finally made a selection. Not only did he find a rental home, but he also found his future wife. Is this a true story? You bet it is!
My husband and I attended Texas A&M University, and are members of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of ’07 and ’05, respectively. We are both Texans, born and raised. We love mesquite-smoked BBQ, tex-mex food, football, family and friends.
We came to the Flathead Valley in the fall of 2012. I spent my time volunteering with various organizations around the valley while we both settled into our new environment. We were welcomed with handshakes, kind smiles, and hugs, and have found our transition from Texas to Montana to be easier than anticipated. When asked if I find Montana different from Texas, I respond that the biggest difference in my experience has been that Montana has 4 true seasons instead of just 2—Summer and Christmas—in Texas!
I would love the opportunity to share this great community with you and show you how easy it can be to transition to the Continental Divide.
