Montana is in my blood. I am a sixth-generation Montanan with my ancestors homesteading in the late 1800s. I have traveled the US and parts of our world, but only feel home when I am right here in Montana. I served in the US Army and was a part of winning the prestigious 1988 West Germany Boeselager Cup, a competition designed to test the reconnaissance skills of cavalry scout units, which attracted 26 teams from various NATO countries. I also participated in Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia.
