I moved to Montana the summer of 1985 to take a ranger position in Glacier National Park. I fell in love with Montana that summer as well as my husband, who was a bear management ranger. To say the least, Montana is magical to me for many reasons. We spent many summers living in St Mary on the eastern edge of Glacier and finally ended up in Whitefish in 1990. Whitefish has been our home ever since. The community of Whitefish was a perfect place to raise our son, who is headed off to college in the fall. I am so glad we have so many great memories of our early years as a family in Whitefish. Whether it was long summer nights on Whitefish Lake or Nordic ski races on the golf course…We feel Whitefish is the last best place and feel blessed to call Whitefish our home.
