My ties to Montana go back to 1986 when my husband, Tom, and I purchased 26 acres in the Northfork area. After spending time and enjoying the summers at our cabin, we decided to make Bigfork our permanent home in 2005. As Chairperson of the American Cancer Relay for Life, Tennis Tournament Chairperson for the Friends of Bigfork Fire Department Fund Raiser, member of the Bigfork USTA tennis team, and a Realtor for National Parks Realty, I am fully involved in my community. My husband, Tom, is a retired airline pilot and is also involved in the community. Our son, Karl, is a Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He graduated from Rocky Mountain College in Billings with a degree in Aviation Management and served previously with the Montana National Guard. He proudly served his country on a deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2008-2009 and also a deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2012. He is currently based at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. 

I was born and raised in Texas, hold a Masters Degree from the University of Houston and have taught at the college level. I have also run my own accounting business serving an oil & gas firm in Texas for the past 35 years. We have traveled extensively around the world but throughout my travels, no place holds a candle to the beauty of Montana.

My wife and I want to express our gratitude for the excellent service provided by SusanKratt. We had visited the area in September and had arranged to view a few properties during our stay. We had communicated some specific requirements as my father lives with us and accommodating his needs was a priority as well. Although we had ear-marked several properties, we only viewed two, as the first one Susan showed us was such a perfect fit for our family. Our vacation quickly turned into a buying process and Susan’s help was invaluable as we were completely unfamiliar with the area and had to quickly return home to Texas to complete a kitchen remodel so we could list our home. Susan was steady, professional, and a true support system as we navigated the stresses of the entirety of the process. Her recommendations from inspectors, to a mortgage company, insurance, banking, etc. were so appreciated and we received excellent service from each of those referrals. How delighted we were to have her welcome us to our new home after a four-day road trip, that she took the time to celebrate with us is indicative of the type of person she is.  Susan continues to be available to us for any random questions that we may have during our settling in. Susan ALWAYS returned my call and she was very prompt about it. Not only was she readily available, she went out of her way to accommodate me and my needs. She is very good and thorough with her research. We never felt pushed at all.  As a matter of fact, she waited very patiently, while we worked out the timing of our move. She was very helpful and has an excellent relationship with others in the business and she had no problems involving them if she thought it would help us. Prior to this most recent sell, I hadn’t seen her for several years, yet when I contacted her to have her help a friend of mine find something, she went above and beyond.   She helped them find a program and houses that they were qualified for, so that they could buy their first home.   Susan honestly takes an interest in her clients.  She listens to their wants and needs and finds that for them.  She didn’t show me things I couldn’t afford or houses that didn’t meet my list items. She provided weekly emails showing the interest in my home, feedback from showing, how many people were “watching” my house or marked it as favorite.  The reports also showed how other similar houses were doing with the public. 

All I have to say is that if you are looking for a realtor, whether you need one as a buyer or seller, Susan Kratt is the best there is!   It doesn’t matter if you have a $2,000,000 home or a $100,000 home, or if you want to buy a $2,000,000 home and can only afford $100,000, she will work hard for you and is extremely honest.

This letter is sent to tell of the excellent service myself, my family and friends have received from Susan Kratt in dealing with our real estate needs! The 1st property we dealt with Susan on was a small lake property we purchased on Swan Lake. Her attention to detail and skills at overcoming objections with the seller was more than impressive. Shortly after that transaction both my son and daughter had homes the wanted to sell.

There was no question in my mind about who would be listing them! Both houses sold in a very reasonable amount of time for a fair price to both the buyer and seller. Once again her can do attitude and persistence made both transactions quick and simple. One of the buyers felt after about a year there had been something not properly disclosed on my sons house! With one phone call to Susan the matter was resolved without incident. Her follow up and follow thru have been second to none! About a year later my wife and I decided to purchase a rental house! We wanted to buy and we found Susan. She was so sweet to us and really worked to get us what we wanted. She found us a honey of a deal and had to talk the seller down and he wasn't easy to deal with. The thing is, anyone will be your friend till the deal is done but Susan never failed us. We had an issue with the property long after the sale, and she went to bat for us again. Honestly she was a tiger defending us in this issue. If you asked me to give you a word to describe Susan several would apply. Sincerity, Integrity, Heart.
